There are few art forms more visceral than zine-making. Distinct from the elegance of traditional books and bookbinding, zines exist as the manifestation of pure narrative, a raw and ugly amalgamation of form and content that spits in the face of ontological classification. 100 days of engagement in such a practice has brought the artist to understand these fundamentals regarding zines and what they must contain in order to be classified as such:

1. zines must be touched

therefore,

2. zines must conceal information, in order to be touched,

therefore,

3. zines must be bound, to retain the form that conceals.

In that way, how different are zines from you and I?
